Daisy Vosin; The Legendary Parang Queen
Daisy was born on the 23 of September 1924 and died on the 7 August 1991 in Trinidad and Tobago. Her mother was Venezuela and her father was Trinidadian of French descent. She was the lead the lead singer in band called "La Divina Pastora" (in English: "The Divine Shepherdess").
Daisy's most favourite moment was when she sang "La Historia Trinitaria" to the Ambassador of Venezuela. Her music was not only enjoyed in Trinidad, as she performed also in the other Caribbean regions, Venezuela, and North America.
Today her music is the "Classics" of Parang. Some of her best songs were "Alegria Alegria" and "Hurray Hurrah".
